Nikon (Nikon CDSC Philippines) is my new photography setup and I already gave up of shooting with Sony Alpha with their lame customer service and after sales. I have decided to switch to Nikon Philippines CDSC. I not say Nikon Philippines CDSC has no cs/as issue but it seems more professional Philippine photographers trust Nikon. Currently my system is base system only not much lens yet and accessories. My Nikon system consist of D300 + MBD10 + AF-S Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8G ED N and a couple of extra batteries and Sandisk Extreme 3 4GB CF cards. Now I am a happy Nikon Photographer, sorry SONY but I’m sick and tired of your lame services. With this website I am urging people to boycott Sony Philippines just compare Sony Style US for the prices how big difference.

Fashion photographers of Philippines and Cebu photographers meet once again at SM City Cebu @ Atrium of the new Northwing Building. This event showcase the Philippines summer fashion collection by the participating clothing store of SM Northwing. The said fashion event started around 6pm and ended an hour later. Our non-profit photo club - Cebu Photography Club officers and members where there also. Some of the known Cebu Philippines fashion photographers also joined this successful fashion show there where to many to name. Anyway kudos to all Cebu Photography Club members and fellow Cebu photographers and Philippines photographers.

Finally I arrived at Cebu - Mactan International Airport from a trip from China. I am currently wasted and tired, photography in China is bit weird for me as people are camera shy. Imagine i shoot downtown and when people see I am aiming my Nikon D300 + Nikkor 24-70 + MBD10, they are running and hiding, its funny and weird. Shooting a running target LOL. I will update this blog soon.

Sinulog sa Kabataan was a successful event and a part of Sinulog 2008 mardi gra. The Sinulog sa Kabataan started a little bit late as there were three contingents that where late. Traffic was then jammed the whole uptown Cebu and PUJ and private vehicles where then diverted to areas not affected by the Sinulog sa Kabataan. All of the contingents of the Sinulog sa Kabataan finally reached Cebu City Sports Complex where they will perform on the grandstand and a more thicker crowds and judges awaits their grand finale. Though it rained on the late afternoon the whole contest was a success and everybody went home tired and happy. Viva Pit Senyor!!!

Sinulog 2008
Today, I got my Photographers ID for the Sinulog 2008 Festival Photo or Video Contest. This year 2008 Sinulog photo video ID is colored light brown chocolate and with the stamp seal of the Sinulog Foundation Inc. You can get your own photographers ID for the coming Cebu City Sinulog mardi gra at the Sinulog Foundation Inc. office located Cebu City Sports Center. Photographers ID or pass will cost you PHP 500.00 (US$ 10.00)  but its worth having the fun-filled experience of joining the contest and the devotion to Sto. Niño. Seriously I’m not after the contest prizes I just want to be part of the celebration by capturing photos of joy and devotion to the Sto Niño and the people who devoted their lives to the holy child.
